HotHouse Foundation benefits Tibet

By Simon van Wyk

HotHouse recently introduced the HotHouse Foundation as a means of giving the company’s employees the opportunity to use their skills and experience for humanitarian and philanthropic causes.

Under the HotHouse Foundation, the company underwrites a percentage of the business day to allow employees to devote part of their office hours along with their own time to the cause.

So far, three projects have been selected for the Foundation, which include:

  • Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation
  • Wisdom of Tibet
  • Pathways Foundation

Each project draws on HotHouse’s skills and capabilities including online strategy, web development, content management, and web design, as well as ongoing online fundraising ideas.

The first phase of the Wisdom of Tibet project has been deployed on the HotHouse next generation Content Management System based on the Microsoft .NET Site Control Framework 2.0.

Wisdom of Tibet fundraising efforts are now well underway with the new website providing registration support for a not to be missed gala charity dinner at the Westin Hotel in Sydney on Saturday 18th February.

Tickets are still available for this event which gives you the special opportunity to join Professor Venerable Samdhong Rinpoche - Chairman of the Kashag (cabinet) Central Tibetan Administration on his first official visit to Australia, along with Buddhist Master, Sogyal Rinpoche Sogyal Rinpoche - Author of The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying.
