The Challenge

The Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation is the principal fundraising body for the Hospital that works to improve the quality of life for seriously ill children. In 2006, HotHouse offered to create a website for the Foundation that would assist in achieving its fundraising goals and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

The HotHouse Solution

The Foundation had an existing Microsoft SharePoint license, which HotHouse utilised as the platform for the site. The other requirement was to update the look and feel and develop areas that could be used to promote their fundraising campaigns. To help the Foundation maintain control over their site, HotHouse developed an easy to use CMS so that non-technical staff would be able to easily update content.

Results

The site HotHouse developed is currently used as a point of access for General Health information; information about the hospital and its events; and educational information. The functionality also extends to a job board and point of call for donations to the Foundation.
